The total cost of a Breast Augmentation can vary due to the different components that contribute to it. These components are:
- The Surgical Fee
- Hospital Theatre Fee
- Specialist Anaesthetist’s Fee
- Cost of Implants
- GST
Understandably, any or all of these components can vary and influence your final cost. For example, the Surgical Fee will depend on how your Breast Augmentation is to be done. The duration of your surgery will determine both the Hospital Fee and the Anaesthetist’s Fee. Different hospitals also have different fee structures. Therefore, it is impossible to issue a single, standard cost for all Breast Augmentations. Once Dr Mayson has assessed how your Breast Augmentation needs to be done and you have chosen your implants, he will give you a written, itemised quotation, valid for 3 months.
